Getting Ready...

So I am getting ready to begin my journey to Holland!! I will be living in Maastricht, Netherlands for 5 and a half months beginning tomorrow! I was not ready for quickly this snuck up on me! My flight takes off tomorrow night and I will be heading to Amsterdam. I will be traveling with 5 other people and we will be spending two nights in Amsterdam before traveling to Maastricht to check-in and get started with orientation. As nervous as I am, I am that much more excited! 

Packing is definitely a struggle for me. Seeing as I packed 49.5 pounds of clothes for a 3 day trip to Canada a few years ago is not giving me much hope. The idea of having 5.5 months of clothes in two suitcases pretty much seems an impossible task to someone like myself. I brought 4 pairs of shoes to the beach last weekend...

Well once I can get this packing situation down I will be prepared to take off across the pond! I will update this as much as I can... or at least when there is something to share because we all know my idea of a good story and everyone else's idea sometimes is a little bit different...
